HPAU postpones exams, to strictly follow Govt advisory to check the spread of COVID-19

Palampur: CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University has decided to postpone on-going mid-semester examinations. As per the orders issued today, the Vice-Chancellor has ordered that all examinations of students of the University scheduled to be held henceforth have been postponed till further orders. Oral comprehensive examination and Thesis viva-voca examination of postgraduate students were postponed till further order on 16 March. The Vice-Chancellor has ordered all concerned in the main campus and out-stations to strictly follow the advisory of Govt.of H.P. to check the spread of COVID-19.
Detailed circular includes advisory like proper cleanliness in buildings, advise to staff to proceed on leave and take prescribed treatment if they develop flu-like symptoms, restriction and screening of visitors to various offices, curtailing meetings and official travel, closure of gym, personal hygiene and social distancing by staff, disinfection of commonly touched surfaces, etc. All statutory officers, heads of department, associate directors of research stations, programme coordinators, etc have been asked to take immediate action in their respective offices so that advisory is followed in letter and spirit by all the persons working under their control.
