Shimla: Himachal Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore visited three govt Hospitals in Shimla to assess situation in wake of Corona Virus and its likely spread in Himachal Pradesh. He was accompanied by other senior Congress workers and Congress supported Councillors of MC Shimla. At around 12:10 PM Rathore along with his team reached at KNH and visited wards and Civil supply chemist shops within the Hospital Complex, thereafter the Team went to IGMC and met MS Dr. Janak and inquired about the readiness of this State Hospital to deal with any emergent situation arising in case of outbreak of this epidemic.
Isolation ward, Chemist shops and Opds were visited and finally DDU Hospital was inspected likewise. Rathore has also directed Congress leaders of their respective Districts to pay similar inspection visits to District and other major Hospitals and submit their report to PCC Office by tomorrow evening and final outcome of all these visits will be brought forward to the media after collecting reports from each District day after tomorrow. Rathore has also directed his BCC Presidents to spread awareness among people regarding this Virus and aware people about how it can be prevented and controlled.
He said that Congress as a political Party finds it as our moral duty to act positively and effectively to serve the society to prevent outbreak of this disease and also force the Government to do its duty properly which is seen indifferent to the seriousness of situation as Government is busy in organising meeting where gathering of more than 300 BJP workers is expected.
