Tenzin Lungtok sworn in as new Justice Commissioner of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission

Mcleodganj: Tenzin Lungtok sworn in as Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission at a swearing-in ceremony held today at Sikyong auditorium. Lungtok succeeds Ngawang Rabgyal Norpa who is retiring from his long and dedicated service.
Chief Justice Commissioner Sonam Norbu Dagpo administered the oath of office to the new Justice Commissioner. Speaker of Tibetan parliament-in-Exile, Deputy Speaker, Justice Commissioners, Kalons, heads of the Autonomous bodies and members, Secretaries of CTA functionaries greeted the new Justice Commissioner in a ceremonial setting. New Justice Commissioner and former Secretary of the Department of Religion and Culture, Lungtok was elected the Justice Commissioner of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission during the eighth session of the 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile held in September 2019.
