Tibetan Homes Foundation awarded “Appreciation Certificate” by regional CBSE office for academic excellence

Macleodganj: In recognition of the academic excellence achieved by the Tibetan Homes Foundation, the regional office of the Central Board of Secondary Education awarded “Appreciation Certificate” to the Tibetan Homes Foundation, noting its consecutive record of academic excellence from 2018 to 2020, with above 90% pass percentage. The certificate received the recognition of academic excellence in the All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination for the last three years.The Tibetan Homes Foundation has been certified ‘A + grade’ in imparting quality education, and the role of the school management, principal and teachers are noted in the remarkable achievement.
Tibetan Homes Foundation was founded in November 1962 after The Dalai Lama stressed on the need to set up homes for Tibetan children whereby they would be provided with a normal upbringing based on the Pestalozzi village at Trogen in Switzerland and thus leading to its establishment with three homes and seventy-five children through the donations made by His Holiness. It has since branched into Tibetan Homes School Mussoorie, THS Rajpur, THS Rishikesh, and THS Dekyiling, making a significant impact on the educational system of the exiled Tibetan community.
